Comedian and NACADA (National Authority for the Campaign Against Alcohol and Drug Abuse) director Chipukeezy announced a new home for his show 'The Chipukeezy Show' barely a day after revealing his exit from Ebru TV in dramatic fashion.

Chipukeezy disclosed that the show which gained popularity airing on Ebru TV with its interviews of trending young artists, comedians and content creators would henceforth air on YouTube starting Monday 2nd September 2019.

Live recordings of the show will be done at the Kenya National Theater (KNT).

Kartelo is expected to host the show alongside Chipukeezy. The sheng comedian's introduction as Chipukeezy's co-host was one of the main reasons behind Chipukeezy's decision to terminate his contract with the station.

Chipukeezy and Kartelo accused the station of seeking to shift the direction of the show towards politicians and corporate types as opposed to young comedians and gengetone artists.

Kartelo also noted that they had been frustrated and harassed alongside their guests and live audience by security guards and station officials.

The Chipukeezy Show already has a large online following with clips from the show regularly featuring among top trending videos on Youtube in the country.

This fact, perhaps, informed Chipukeezy's switch to YouTube with the show henceforth airing on his channel.

The comedian was pictured alongside gengetone group Boondocks Gang in Nairobi on Wednesday.
