With a murder case hanging over her head,Jacque Maribe has left Citizen TV.
The anchor is currently out on bail having been accused of killing businesswoman Monica Kimani alongside her fiance Joe 'Jowie' Irungu.
She was reportedly asked by Citizen TV bosses to tender her resignation or face an undignified exit from the Royal Media Services-owned station.
Among the conditions set by Justice Wakiaga when he gave Maribe bail was that she would not be allowed to read the news or participate in interviews.
Her co-accused, Irungu, is being held at the Kamiti Maximum Prison after being denied bail.
