Music video for Buruklyn Boyz Diss Track 'B*tch Ass N*ggas"

Rappers from Laini Saba, Kibera led by Big Jay L7 and Mito have dropped "B*tch Ass Niggas" - a diss single aimed at fast-rising drill group Buruklyn Boyz.

Buruklyn Boyz, made up of Ajay and Mr Right, rep Buruburu and have scored a number of recent hit singles including Nairobi, Wild and Billy Jean.

The L7 crew, on the other hand, has been buzzing in 2021 with their new singles gaining traction - notably Manzi wa Kibera, which stars the socialite who also hails from L7, and more recently, Wanakungoja Udedi.

On the diss, the L7 rappers accuse Burukyln Boyz of disrespect and vow to take over the drill game.

They claim Buruklyn Boyz are soft and that the rappers are actually from Kitengela and not Buruburu as they rap. Mito goes on to claim that the rappers 'walikula fare' - suggesting that they fail to show up for a planned collaboration.

They don't even spare their style - accusing them of hiding, referencing Buruklyn Boyz' balaclavas and bandana-covered faces.

While not officially a group, the L7 crew brings together several artists including Sokoroh, Big Jay L7, Sinkid, Baba Max and more. Several of the artists sent shots at Buruklyn Boyz online ahead of the diss track release.

Mito Street Lioness has also been buzzing online with her singles and freestyles going viral and catching the attention of, among others, Tanzanian rapper Rosa Ree.

The diss track is produced by Mkosti - the producer responsible for man/y hits from Stivo Simple Boy as well as many other artists from the Kibera and Highrise areas.

"Respect is the only investment that is valueless, Buruklyn boys chose disrespect, we won't hesitate to tell them what L7 means. This piece of art is to just tell you that we are just started, we will be taking over the Kenyan drill business with something competitive and authentic.

"Buruklyn boys should exit the drill business because they lame and fake," stated Big Jay L7.

The track sparked mixed reactions with fans split down the middle.

Most of them, however, noted that they expected Buruklyn Boyz to fire back given their status as the city's newest drill kings.
