Suba North MP Millie Odhiambo hit back at Nairobi Governor Mike Sonko as their public fall-out in the wake of Kibra MP Ken Okoth's funeral turned ugly.

Sonko had earlier taken to Facebook to slam Millie and nominated MP Isaac Mwaura.

The Governor accused the Suba legislator of hypocrisy after she promised to bring forward a bill to ensure fathers declare all their children to ensure they are legally protected.

He also made crude references to the MPs' sex lives.

In her response, Millie did not hold back as she listed her past legislative efforts to protect women and children.

Asserting that unlike Sonko, she did not just 'yap at funerals', Odhiambo stated that it was solely Sonko's speech at Okoth's funeral that led to the body not being taken to Kabondo, Homa Bay.

"Your unnecessary drama spiralled a behind the scenes series of events that resulted in Okoth's body not being taken to Kabondo.

At Okoth's funeral, Sonko had shocked mourners with his speech that revealed details of Okoth's relationship with nominated MCA Anne Thumbi and their child outside of the marriage with Monica Okoth, Ken's widow.

She went on to slam the Governor for attempting to shame her using her sex life.

Millie Odhiambo made it clear that she had never shied away from discussing her sex life.

"You said history never forgets so let me remind you that I have said before publicly that I love sex and I have sex," she wrote.
