Ugandan socialite and businesswoman in a recent interview with South Africa-based Jacaranda FM opened up on her feelings towards Nairobi Governor Mike Sonko.
Zari heaped praise on the controversial, flamboyant governor over his "character and passionate convictions".
She noted similarities between Sonko and her late ex-husband Ivan Semwanga in how they both sought to help society's underprivileged.
Zari also referred to her Bongo Flava superstar ex-husband Diamond Platinumz as 'boyish and childish'in comparison to Sonko.
Zari is a close friend of Sonko's family and was the chief guest alongside Nairobi County First Lady Primrose Mbuvi at the Color Purple Cancer Screening event in May 2018.

I LOVE THIS HANDSOME GOVERNOR BECAUSE HE IS A MAN OF IMPECCABLE CHARACTER AND PASSIONATE CONVICTIONS. HE IS NOT AS BOYISH AS THE OTHER KID WHO HAS BEEN CHASING ME AROUND" Zari stated.
