Popular artist Nyashinski officially dropped his first name, a gazette notice has confirmed.
The gazette notice dated November 1st indicated that Nyashinski, real name Inyatta Nyamari Ongegu, had legally dropped his first name 'Inyatta'.
The Now You Know star made the move just before his recent wedding to long-time girlfriend Zippy Jepkemei Bett.
"Notice is given that by a deed poll dated the 10th April 2019 duly executed and registered in the registry of documents at Nairobi.
"Formerly known as Inyatta Nyamari Ongegu formally and absolutely renounced and abandoned the use of his former name Inyatta Nyamari Ongegu , and in lieu thereof assumed and adopted the name Nyamari Ongegu, for all purposes and authorizes and requests all persons at all times to designate, describe and address him by his assumed name of Nyamari Ongegu only," the notice read.
Nyashinski has been known to keep his private life out of the limelight which led tabloids to recently have a field day as he did a traditional wedding.
Nyashinski and his girlfriend wore Ankara outfits with the rapper adding a cane to complete his look.
He later took to social media to assert his advanced position in life and the music industry.
"Today henceforth, you young bulls greet me with two hands!" he posted.
