Televangelist Godfrey Migwi went viral on Monday, August 3 as he tore into rapper Khaligraph Jones.

In particular, Migwi had a bone to pick with Khaligraph's bishop costume in the video.

He claimed that it was an insult to the faith and would lead to the star rapper's downfall, citing various Bible verses.

"I'm warning you misguided entertainers, you are attracting curses upon your life and your generations to come , I know you're after fame and money but you're completely lost , mark my words, you better repent and break the curses,God is never mocked.

"Woe unto you and your generations to come after you Bahati and the one I heard he's called Khaligraph Jones, wearing Bishops gowns is wrong," he maintained.

While some of Migwi's followers agreed with him, others criticised the Pastor arguing that Khaligraph only wore the costume for artistic purposes.

Nyakalaga is a trap banger by fast-rising Luo rap specialist Japesa and features Khaligraph.

Importantly, the song itself features a spiritual theme and explains the costume.

Migwi also singled out singer and reality star Bahati, who wore a similar bishop costume in the video for Taniua featuring Boondocks Gang.

Taniua was one of the singer's early ventures into Gengetone after years of being considered a gospel singer.

In the song, Exray refers to Bahati as 'Young Priest' and the singer maintains his religious ideals, admitting to various temptations in the song.

Migwi, however, was not impressed and urged the artists to stop it.
