The dance scene in Kenya has witnessed a resurgence in recent months thanks to a new crop of youngsters determined to make their presence felt.

At the forefront of the dance revolution have been two figures; Pitah Scarlet and Tileh Pacbro.

Scarlet is well known to many in Gengetone circles as part of the music group Wakali Wao alongside Iano Ranking and Kim SWAT.

He is a talented dancer who also performs, with the Ace Dance Fam crew.

Their takes on various trending dance challenges have seen them earn the admiration of thousands of fans.

Their recent dance cover of Fess Ka Fe Bang, for instance, quickly racked up over a million views as it was simply fun to watch and had viewers wanting to dance.

Scarlet has also appeared in several of the most popular Gengetone videos ever.

Pacbro, on the other hand, is one of the most prominent figures on the dance scene in Kenya in 2020.

He runs Dance 98, a dance school based in Lavington, Nairobi.

Pacbro has managed to build up a large international audience off the sheer strength of his dance skills along with various partners.

Notably, Pacbro has also cut a niche for himself with tutorials and quick uploads of popular local and international songs.

Some of Pacbro's videos, such as the Corona dance video, have gone viral internationally and attracted the attention of celebrities including rapper Cardi B.

He has also appeared in music videos by various artists including Octoppizo, Bey T, and most recently Khaligraph Jones in his official music video for 'Tuma Kitu'.

While fans can't seem to agree on who is the coldest dancer in Nairobi, they're happy to watch them both shine.
