Probably Kenya's biggest rapper at the moment, Khaligraph Jones may now be cooking up some reggae tunes.

This is after an online challenge on Twitter where fans demanded a reggae single from the O.G.

When asked how many Re-tweets it would take for the Siogopi rapper to drop a reggae song, Khaligraph promised to comply if the tweet received 2,000 re-tweets.

As of Monday, October 21st, the tweet had amassed over 3,000 re tweets and counting.

Fans piled pressure on Khaligraph to do as he promised, with the Blu Ink boss now forced to venture into the world of reggae.

Khaligraph has previously displayed his versatility as he featured on songs with afro-pop stars Sauti Sol and swahili crooner Masauti.

In the early days of his career, his cover of Wizkid's Ojuelegba also earned him the admiration of many as he effortlessly rode the Naija afro-pop beat.

Khaligraph has had an incredible 2019 and is one of few veteran artists still relevant since the emergence of the new-school gengetone sound which has swept Kenyan charts since 2018.

The third installment of his Khali Cartel series was a certified smash-hit which featured the likes of Bey T, Breeder LW, Silverstone Barz, Chiwawa and Ethic front-man Rekles.

He followed it up with the heavy trap banger Siogopi which features Lamaz Span KOB.
