Barak Jacuzzi
Barak Jacuzzi

MoJuice Label's artist and owner Barak Jacuzzi is no stranger to the local music scene. The vibrant MC is well known in #KE from his numerous music shows and radio gigs. However, the streets have been sleeping on some of his music. Hommies, it's time for some folgers crystals. Below are the undisputedly best Barak Jacuzzi tracks.

6). Gas. Barak Jacuzzi flexes on the highly melodic and addictive beat, blending some Swahili with his otherwise flawless English into the track. Cuzzi comfortably lays bars over the beat, asking the listener to 'Funga Mulango' for some Gas. The video, as expected, is tiptop, showing the viewer scenes of what went down during his The Juice Bar 2 release party. Gas is the sixth track in the project.

5) Coco Masta. In his own words, Cuzzi's middle name could be 'Shujaa'. On the video, which was released in April 2017, the Coco Masta fuses a cool vibe to great visuals, creating a rich experience for the viewer. The MoJuice label owner displays his hiphop mastery over the track, pinning him as one of the best MCs in the game.

4). Bubble Up. Bubble up is the eleventh track off The Juice Bar 2. It features a funky Caribbean style beat on which Cuzzi effortlessly unravels. The track is catchy, which is indicative of his extensive musical prowess. It's the type of song that gives you those 'life is good' nostalgic moments and puts you in a let-loose mood. The track is impeccably crafted and even with a length of 3:36, it still ends way too soon. Buyer beware, you might catch yourself putting this one on repeat.

3). Stay In Your Lane.

Stay In Your Lane

With the video released in Oct 2018, Stay In Your Lane is the fourth track off The Juice Bar 2. Barak's aggression is loosened on this one. Directed towards his haters, Cuzzi gives the track a good dose of highly aggressive energy which will definitely seep into you while listening. Everything on the song is A1, from the video quality to the lyrics, the featured interview snippets and the concept of the track at large. Mahn, if you don't dig, stay in your lane.

2). Lowkey. Off his sophomore EP Coco Season, Lowkey is definitely among the top, lowkey fire Cuzzi tracks (No pun intended). Lowkey's beat is a banger and Barak isn't wasteful on it. The bars are tiptop, ranging from rants about how Barak's mom hates his lifestyle yet his women love it, to smoking in Ubers in Kilimani. Video quality is world class, setting a high standard for the local music scene.

1) Staki Kubonga. This is another one of the lesser known yet the best Barak Jacuzzi track there is. There's no other way to put it, Barak really goes off in this track. The beat is musically rich, comprising a good solid baseline and catchy piano notes that play during peak moments of the track. This artistic blend creates a bouncy vibe which is very pleasing to the ears, providing Barak with a good ground for him to unleash his masterfully developed flow. You can listen to it for days on end. Here's a sneak peek:
