Popular spoken word artist and MC Willy Oeba is the latest to deliver an installment of Wajinga Nyinyi, a series of revolutionary singles that followed the release of the original track by King Kaka.

Known for his witty, smart lines that mirror happenings in society, Oeba delivers a flawless performance on Wajinga Nyinyi Pt.4 alongside Shanki Austine and Evansquez.

It is the latest, powerful edition of Wajinga Nyinyi with fellow spoken word artist Poet Teardrops and rapper Frasha having delivered their own renditions.

The release instantly resonated with Kenyans who took to social media to share lyrics and memorable quotes while decrying the ills bedeviling Kenyan society.

Wajinga Nyinyi and other trends geared towards political revolution have dominated social media in Kenya since Kaka broke the internet with his single, and he has kept his foot on the neck with a series of follow-up releases keeping with the same theme and incorporating other major talents.

Oeba is the current East African Spoken Word King, having snatched the crown in an epic battle in 2018.

While King Kaka has himself grown to be recognized as one of the country's biggest rap artists and entertainment entrepreneurs, he too has his roots in spoken word having first caught Kenyans' attention with his hard-hitting, poetic releases when he still went by 'Rabbit'.

On Pt.4 , Oeba critiques the state of society, exposing the numerous flaws that exist in our modern nation.

As expected with his art, the spoken word is poetically rich, filled with metaphors that reflect on the regular moments, actions and situations that define our days , adding to the chorus of new Kenyan music geared towards social justice

Earlier this month, Oeba released his much awaited debut album ISM at a packed event in his Nakuru backyard.
