The cover of Pulser's July edition

Standard Group-owned lifestyle & entertainment magazine Pulser found themselves in trouble after popular food blogger Kaluhi Adagala of 'Kaluhi's Kitchen' called them out for using her work and failing to credit her.

On Saturday, the blogger shared images of a Kachumbari and Nyama Choma recipe which appears in the July edition of Pulser.

The main image accompanying the recipe was lifted from a blog post of Kaluhi's from January titled 'Pilipili and Rosemary Marinated Mbuzi Choma Na Kachumbari'.

"Congratulations, I guess.

"May i also point out how despicable it is that you use content from KE creators pass it off as your own or credit forgein people. You used my work in your July issue and I want to be compensated for it," Kaluhi posted in response to an unrelated tweet from the media behemoth.

She shared pictures from her original post alongside what appeared in Pulser .

She also shared a Youtube video uploaded around the same time as the original recipe.

A section of fans encouraged her to sue the media company while others lamented on the pitfalls of being a content creator in Kenya.

Kaluhi hinted at pursuing further action to secure compensation, later tweeting "Let me collect my coint! Hii story ya using my work kujenga magazine zao sitaki! (I don't want this story of them using my work to build their magazines)."

The blogger has amassed a large following over the past few years with her original content on food and unique recipes with a Kenyan touch.
