VDJ Jones. The DJ has launched a new entertainment company, Superstar Entertainment.

VDJ Jones is among the most sought-after deejays in the country, not just because of his skills on the decks but also because of his work with Gengetone artists.

Jones cut a niche for himself with his involvement in several artistic projects, earning himself the tag of 'Kenya's DJ Khaled'.

With countless popular mixes under his belt and smash hits such as Wale Mang'aa featuring Swat, Odi Wa Murang'a and Jua Cali , the mix master is intent on spreading his wings.

Previously affiliated with Black Market Records (BMR), Jones is charting his own path with the launch of Superstar Entertainment, a full-service entertainment company incorporating a record label, audio and video production, a deejay academy and sound, stages and lighting hiring.

His new recording studio, Superstar Studios, opened its doors on Monday, November 23 in Umoja Phase 2, Nairobi. It is located opposite Victory Hospital.

Jones had teased construction of the studio for weeks on social media prior to its launch.

It's official unveiling was welcomed by various artists, established and upcoming, who looked forward to working with Superstar Entertainment.

Notably, Jones has already signed his first artist under Superstar Records, Ohangla singer Robby Ja Ulowa.

Ja Ulowa on Thursday, November 26 released his first single and music video under the stable, the Mavo-produced Hera Onge.

A captivating, style-filled video for the smooth Ohangla single was shot by Trey Juelz.

It will cost Ksh10,000 to book a recording session at Superstar Studios, with the fee inclusive of marketing and other add-ons from the company.

Superstar Entertainment disclosed that the first twenty artists to record at the studio would get to have VDJ Jones appear in their videos.
