Double Trouble is the latest artist group making waves in African Trap thanks to their latest release Hainaga Error. The group is made up of two members Troubletooreal and Realbene1.
Double Trouble proves they can do it with the best of them on what is a buzzing release being widely shared.
Hoodbwoyz was Double Trouble’s first music video, having previously released a single featuring Young NC titled Vitu On.
They are a hip hop duo established in Mombasa, Kenya representing SWIPE GANG from Majengo Old Town, Mombasa. The group are affiliates of 80100 music collective, a Coast-based arts platform.
Background
They perform art for social impact i.e. they use their art to counter violence, extremism, radicalization in their communities through the #AchaGunShikaMic program founded by Mombasa Hip Hop Star, Ohms Law Montana.
Having been cosigned by renowned award winning media personality Jamal Gaddafi saying “Young Generation Ya Wahenga cheki industry nzima ikipagawa Na Wamanga….” they are the face of Mombasa Trap…this low key slaps. On his Facebook post as well as celebrated Kibera recording and performing artist, humanitarian and an entrepreneur Octopizzo who shouted them out on his Instagram Live feed. They are surely without a doubt headed for the top.
They are representing their city Mombasa to the fullest letting the world know their stories and inspiring anyone who’s chasing dreams to know that it’s possible!

When realbene1’s eccentricities are paired with troubletooreal’s street smarts, the results are electric: 2020's "Hoodbwoyz" - a wild, trap masterpiece, while 2021's "Hainaga Error" gave the duo its first major hit, the street-classic.
Aside from creating "Hainaga Error," one of the best hip-hop songs this year, the Kenyan Coast hip-hop titans exhibited the kind of lyrical chemistry in a style reminiscent to the 90s era that most hip-hop duos dream of, from collaborating with Young Jaike on his "More Friends Less Enemies" single to their own label mate Young NC "Vitu On” single.
